Kansas HEP Programs
The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) helps migratory and seasonal farmworkers (or children of such workers), who are 16 years of age or older and not currently enrolled in school, to obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma and, subsequently, to gain employment or begin postsecondary education or training.

Student Eligibility:
-
They or their immediate family members have engaged in migrant or seasonal farm work for at least 75 days in the last 24 months.
-
They have participated or been eligible to participate in the Workforce Investment Act 167 program (WIA 167).
-
They were eligible to participate Title C Migrant Education program within the last 24 months.
And
-
Is at least 16 years of age or over.
-
Is not currently enrolled in an elementary or secondary school.
-
Has not earned a secondary school diploma or its equivalency.

Kansas CAMP Programs
The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) assists migratory and seasonal farmworkers and their immediate family members to successfully complete the first undergraduate year of study in a college or university and provides follow-up services to help students continue in post-secondary education.

Student Eligibility:
-
They or their immediate family members have engaged in migratory or seasonal farm work for at least 75 days within the last 24 months.
-
They participated or have been eligible to participate in the Title 1C Migrant Education Program.
-
They qualified for the Workforce Investment Act 167 Program (WIA 167), formerly the JTPA 402 Program High School Equivalency Program (HEP).
-
High school or GED graduate.
-
Not beyond the first academic year of college (30 credits).
-
U.S. citizen or legal resident of the U.S. (permanent resident).

Kansas HEP Programs
El Programa de Equivalencia de la Escuela Secundaria (HEP) ayuda a los trabajadores agrícolas migratorios y de temporada (o hijos de dichos trabajadores), que tienen 16 años de edad o más y no están actualmente inscritos en la escuela, a obtener el equivalente a un diploma de escuela secundaria y, posteriormente, a obtener un empleo o comenzar una educación o formación postsecundaria.

El programa College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) ayuda a los trabajadores agrícolas migrantes y de temporada y a sus familiares inmediatos a completar con éxito el primer año de estudios de pregrado en un colegio o universidad y brinda servicios de seguimiento para ayudar a los estudiantes a continuar en la educación postsecundaria.

Graduado de la escuela secundaria o GED.

No más allá del primer año académico de la universidad (30 créditos).
